Jayex is delighted to announce that Queensway Medical Centre, an existing customer who recently upgraded to Jayex Connect Patient Flow to improve the patient experience at their surgery, are already reaping the benefits of their new solution.  

The upgrade meant they received Jayex’s Queue View module inclusive of their license, which enhances the self-service check-in capabilities of Connect by giving patients visibility of place-in-queue as well as estimated wait times. This is more reassuring for them and removes the need for them to revisit reception to speak to staff.  

Queensway undertook a survey of both patients and staff, which revealed the following:  

  • Fewer patients returned to reception looking for updates  
  • Footfall at reception dropped, improving productivity  
  • Patients found the system to be intuitive and easy to use  
  • The information was accurate and timely  
  • Queue status was reassuring and useful  

Administrative staff reported estimated time savings of 3 to 5 minutes per patient as they no longer had to handle manual check-ins and queries.
