The Jayex management team needed to address the systems to handle the rapid expansion of activity. The company was using Sage for accounts, ACT for CRM and Excel sheets for stock control. The various systems were not connected and so paper files had to be created for each transaction. The systems were based on a site based server making it difficult for field and remote staff to access. A search was launched to find a better way of managing our business. Various competing systems were evaluated. It needed to be scalable, cloud based, able to handle support, sales, accounts, CRM, stock control, etc. It became very clear early on in the evaluation process that one system was just so far ahead of the others that the choice was clearly obvious.
